Biography
Kathleen Wrampe's background is fashion merchandising, living and working in the New York City area. While living abroad she studied drawing and watercolor painting under international artist Antonija Gros in Singapore. Upon returning to the U.S. Kathleen attended Norwalk Community College, Norwalk, CT focusing on Chinese Brush Painting. Since then, Kathleen attends formal classes at the Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan, CT where she was awarded the First Prize in Painting for her watercolor "Graceful Spirits" at the school's student show.
Kathleen's work has been shown in a number of places, such as the Silvermine Student Art Show; the Wilton Library Summer Art Exhibition in Wilton, CT; the Scan Art Spring Show in Newtown, CT; the Personal Visions Art Show at the School House Gallery in Croton Falls, NY; the juried exhibition "Elements" presented by Loft Artists Association of Stamford, CT; and the 37th Annual Juried Exhibition by the Ridgefield Guild of Artists in CT.
Kathleen's paintings represent the color and atmosphere of the world around her.
